Artist’s Statement
There is something uniquely beautiful about our bodies. Portraits of V is an invitation to appreciate the beauty and diversity of vulvas.

The Process
The first step is a virtual consultation. We discuss what you can expect and you can ask any questions that might not yet have been answered.
If we decide to proceed, we find a day that works best for us and schedule a photo shoot. The studio is located at 215 36th ave NE.
Once you arrive at the studio, you’ll get a short tour and have a chance to settle in. We’ll go through the process one more time, and when we’re ready, we start the private photo shoot.
Participants are encouraged to bring someone if they would like.
During the photo shoot, you'll be sitting in a comfortable position on medical paper. This part of the process takes five to ten minutes.
Once we’re done, I’ll let you know when your photo has been edited.
Anonymity
Anonymity is a big part of the project. Participants’ information will be kept private and not used in any way. Participants are welcome to write a short statement if they would like to but it is not a requirement.
